This week we've been learning about how life was different for the pilgrims. We've been watching some videos about pilgrim life and also Wampanog tribe life. Students drew and painted turkeys and are learning about shapes.

- Read to your child
- Play outside
- Tell someone at home what you learned about the pilgrims and the Wampanog tribe
- Tell someone about the kinds of chores did the pilgrim children had to do.
- Do a chore and write/draw about what you did.
- Practice the "one more" or "one less" game using a die (or two if you're ready for a challenge). Roll the die then write the number that is one more or one less.
- Practice heart words (words we learn "by heart" also known as "sight words" because students should know them by sight w/o needing to sound out). a, the, love, see, my, like, can, by, to, and, my, is, cat, dog, we, house, yes, no, be, is, go, it, have, end
- Read the poems in your poetry binders
- Read the words on the sheet in your folder
- Practice writing letters: m,t,d,a.o,c,g,i,n,h,f,v,s,z,p and numbers 1-10
- Tell someone about the work in your folder
- Make a book using the color or heart words
- Lots of ideas for I.S. on the website
