Dear Parents,
We enjoyed the Ron Artis show on Wednesday though the music was a bit loud for some of the students. We have been learning all about bats and had fun making our own paper ones. Today the class shared these bats with the 6th graders and told them a bat fact that they had learned. We sang the echolocation song for them as well. You can listen to the song with your child this weekend and get it stuck in your head just as it's stuck in mine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hr-Y2Tt8gFE.
Thank you for sending in the pumpkins! We are using them for many things and will continue next week. It's fun having a pumpkin patch in our classroom.
I'm looking forward to meeting with you all next week and setting some goals with your child.
