This week we had some dog visitors who came with Erin Ellis to help us learn about safe ways to approach a dog that we don't know. She also did a fun lesson on habitats which we applied to bats after she left. We went to the outdoor classroom with the 3rd grade and discussed how things in nature can remind us of friendship. Teams came up with thoughtful responses to this activity. We are enjoying this beautiful learning environment! We had fun reading with our 5th grade reading buddies on Tuesday. The students did a super job of telling what they are grateful for during whole school appreciations this afternoon.
